NoDa, aka North Davidson Street, is Charlotte’s art district and you know that means a lot of great food. I lived in NoDa for a while during my remote work travels, and had the honor of trying tons of delicious restaurants & quick food stops while I was there. This is your guide to the 15 best restaurants in NoDa Charlotte NC, which has something for everyone from families, to foodies and even remote workers looking for a quick bite and free WIFI. Artisan’s Palate : #1 of the Restaurants In NoDa Charlotte NC
Artisan’s Palate is a 100% women-owned restaurant and art gallery a little off North Davidson street. Between the locally curated menu that sources from local farms, art being displayed from rotating local artists, cute outdoor patio and coffee sourced from Magnolia Coffee, it’s known as the best of the restaurants in NoDa Charlotte.


Being a combined restaurant and coffee shop also means that Artisan’s Palate is a great place to work remote from as a digital nomad.
The menu offers a mix of small plates and full size entrees. Try the bacon-wrapped dates or the pork belly, and make sure to find the secret beer garden out back. Also, make sure to try one of their many craft cocktails, which another specialty of Artisan’s Palate.
Ever Andalo : Best of the Restaurants in NoDa Charlotte for Italian Food
Ever Andalo is one of the area’s two Michelin star restaurants and the best of the local restaurants to dine on delicious Italian food. This is one of the fancier restaurants in NoDa Charlotte. Some of the most loved dishes are the burrata, branzino or cavatelli.
Salud Cerveceria & Salud Beer Shop : A Local Gem

Salud Cerveceria is a brewpub and eatery that is very well loved by the community and for good reason! Stop in to try a variety of high quality craft beers, wood-fired pizzas (Detroit style) and appetizers in an inviting atmosphere which feels authentically NoDa.
Some of the most loved apps are the Mamacita meatballs and the wings (try the bleu cheese). Take some local beers to go from the beer shop to finish off your dinner.

Haberdish is a trendy Michelin star southern kitchen and NoDa Charlotte NC staple, offering deliciously good food for dinner and brunch.
I highly recommend their brunch, which features unique (and beautiful!) brunch drinks alongside comfort food including of course, fried chicken & waffles, in a warm space with lots of natural light. Great vibes all around. Haberdish even offers apothecary cocktails from their 1950’s soda fountain which pair perfectly with the southern entrees. You can’t go wrong coming here!
Local Loaf : Hearty & Healthy With A Beautiful Patio

Stop by Local Loaf for artisanal baked goods and house made breads and a mouthwatering meal made locally, showing off the charm NoDa Charlotte is known for.
They really shine for brunch, although they also serve dinner and everything in between! Local Loaf is one of my favorite places in all of Charlotte for breakfast.
Local Loaf is known for the Chicken and the Egg entree which is a spin on classic chicken and waffles. We personally loved their breakfast sandwiches, and you can either eat at a table inside or on their cute outdoor patio, or take your food to go. This place gets packed, so make sure to plan accordingly and don’t show up starving on the weekend!
Jack Beagles : Best of the Restaurants In NoDa For Mac N Cheese Lovers

Jack Beagles is a local restaurant and bar with a relaxed atmosphere, offering casual and hand-crafted comfort food. My favorite thing about this place is that they had a bunch of different types of gourmet mac n cheese flavors I had never heard before. My favorite was the Jack Mac, which is their signature. Yummmm!!!
They also have live music,events and a great local culture at Jack Beagles. You can find their event line up on the Jack Beagle’s Instagram page. It’s a must-stop for anyone in NoDa looking for good times. 😁
Goodyear House : Dine Under A Canopy of Trees

Goodyear House is a local favorite that offers high-quality food in a beautiful setting, either in their well designed, casual and rustic indoor space or in their sprawling outdoor patio and garden under a canopy of trees. I highly recommend trying the crispy rice balls. Still thinking of them months later!
NoDa Bodega : Best of the Restaurants In NoDa Charlotte for Take Out
NoDa Bodega is an inviting deli serving up the best sandwiches on North Davidson street, where you’ll also find a strong sense of community. You will probably love any sandwich you try, and make sure to get the tater tots on the side.
Growlers : NoDa’s Brewpub
Growlers Pourhouse is a local favorite spot and brewpub where you can sample local beers along with great food. The owners of Haberdish and Ever Andalo also own Growlers, so you know it’s going to be good!
Some of their specialties are the reuben, oysters (!), cheese fries and of course cold beer. The atmosphere here is laid back and you’ll always feel welcome. It’s definitely a must-stop for beer lovers visiting NoDa!
Cabo Fish Taco : Mouthwatering Tacos

Cabo Fish Taco’s flagship store is located in NoDa Charlotte, offering original Baja Mexican cuisine in a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere. We went back here again and again for their delicious tacos!
Oh My Soul : Gourmet Vegan & A Beautiful Outdoor Patio

Oh My Soul is NoDa Charlotte’s first vegan restaurant, boasting a huge menu of delicious items alongside craft cocktails. They stand for kindness, compassion and love for all things on the planet.
Visit on a nice day to take advantage of their AMAZING outdoor patio and garden that includes a 100-year old oak tree. 🌳🩷
Zämbies Pizza : Best Pizza in NoDa Charlotte

Who doesn’t love pizza and NoDa has their very own unique spot – Zämbies Pizza. They offer HUGE pizzas packed with flavor, local favorite garlic knots and more made with excellence. You can order a quick slice or full pizza, and they’re bustling long into the night which shows how loved this local pizza spot is.
Jack Brown’s Burgers : Best Burger In NoDa Charlotte
Jack Browns is right in the heart of NoDa offering delicious burgers with a spin, meaning unique offerings you’ll only find at Jack Browns. One of their house favorites is the Greg Brady, which is a burger with mac n cheese and chips on top.

There is a Jack Browns at the college my sister and friends attended, and I can say by experience that even though it’s a burger restaurant, the sticky nuggs are an absolute must. You also have to try the deep fried oreos.
Outside of the creative food options, it’s a really great vibe inside with a casual and fun atmosphere, and plenty of beer too. Jack Browns will always be a favorite stop of mine!
Deejai Noodle Bar : Mouthwatering Thai Street Food

Deejai Noodle Bar completely surprised me. This asian eatery in the NoDa neighborhood offers a variety of traditional thai street food dishes. My favorite is the Kau Gui, which is a noodle dish with veggies that is surprisingly light and perfect for lunch!
Optimist Hall : Eat, Drink, Shop, Work, Relax

This hip food hall is more of a food and beverage destination, offering 25 food stalls, boutique shops, restaurants, drink stops and good vibes (hence the name). You can eat, drink, shop and relax at Optimist Hall, either indoors or on the beautiful outdoor terrace and eating area.
There’s also free WIFI, so any digital nomads or remote workers can come work here to hangout, work and taste some delicious food in an inspiring place showcasing some of the best of Charlotte. P.S. I highly recommend the spaghetti melt from Papi Queso. 😍
