A lot of my life’s most special moments happened at Folly Beach, and it’s one of my favorite places in the world! I’ve created a Folly Beach map for you to use while you visit, which you can save to your phone to use during your visit. Enjoy 🤙🏼

Folly Beach Map (Created On Google Maps)

Below you’ll find the Folly Beach map I created on Google Maps, which you can use on either your desktop but more importantly your phone to find all the best spots in Folly. In case the embedded map isn’t working below, you can visit the map directly at this link.

Important Places On The Folly Beach Map

Folly Beach Parking

Folly Beach parking is fairly easy, with free parking on most side streets and paid parking lots near almost every beach entrance. I put most of the public beach entrances on the above map, and you can read my guide to Folly Beach parking for more info.

Folly Beach Pier

Think of the Folly Beach pier as central point where most of the restaurants, shops, hotels and bars in Folly are and the most important place on my Folly Beach map for navigating around the island. The pier itself is great for fishing and dining or having a few drinks with a view at Pier 101 or Pinky’s at the Beach (Formerly BLU).

The Folly Beach Surf Shop : McKevlin’s

Everyone’s favorite place to shop at the beach is the local surf shop, and McKevlin’s is Folly Beach’s gem established in 1965 – making it one of the US’s oldest surf shops. You can either buy some gear here or even rent a surfboard to test out the best waves in South Carolina!

Tides Hotel

The Tides hotel is the biggest hotel in Folly Beach, which in its location next to the pier serves as another central point. The Tides Hotel is a great option for families who are looking for convenience and an ocean view.

Rita’s Seaside Grill

Rita’s is right across from the Folly Beach pier and easily one of the most well-known of all the Folly Beach restaurants. They serve a delicious brunch on their sunny shaded patio, along with dinner and even live music here and there. And of course, you have to get a margarita at Rita’s!

Taco Boy Folly Beach

Taco Boy Folly Beach is a staple in Folly and will definitely catch your eye as a centerpiece, making it an important spot on my Folly Beach map. It’s got a cool boho treehouse feel to it, with multiple levels, an indoor/outdoor design and trees all around the building. Come here for delicious tacos, really great cocktails and a DJ on weekends.

Chico Feo

Chico Feo is a unique little beer garden and restaurant amongst the trees. Folly Beach wouldn’t be the same without it and it’s my personal favorite spot in all of Folly. The food is fantastic and the vibes are even better. Every Monday they have an open mic night where local artists come to share their talents.

Folly Beach County Park Charleston SC

Folly Beach County Park is one of the most well-loved parks in the Charleston area, with the natural beauty of Folly Beach, plenty of facilities and lots of parking. It takes up a large portion of the Southern end of the barrier island.

If you’re planning your Folly Beach vacation, make sure to save this Folly Beach map to your phone. Also, check out my blog about the best places to stay in Folly Beach and others on the best spots for live music, brunch and more.
